Charles Corrigan
CORRIGAN Charles William (Charlie) 26th September 2023 The family of the late Charles William (Charlie) Corrigan wish to place on record our thanks to all those who cared for Charlie and supported us following our loss. Thank you to the many Medical and Health and Social Care Staff who looked after Charlie throughout his treatment and care with kindness, patience, and humanity. This includes the teams at both the North West Cancer Centre, Altnagelvin Hospital, and at the South West Acute Hospital. In particular thank you to the Doctors, Nurses, Health Care Assistants, Cleaners, and Porters in Ward 2 at the South West Acute Hospital who made Charlie's final hospital stay as comfortable as possible. We are also very grateful to the District Nursing Team who visited Charlie in his home. Thank you also to Cathcart's Pharmacy, Derrygonnelly and Dr. Cathcart's GP Practice for their care over the years. The family greatly appreciate the time taken by all those friends and neighbours who sympathised in person or phoned, brought food, sent cards or letters, or shared memories of working with or growing up with Charlie. Thank you to Roy Dreaning for visiting Charlie and for his pastoral care, to the Church Hilll Band Hall Committee for the use of the hall, to everyone who helped with refreshments after the Service of Thanksgiving and to Charlotte Gordon and Myrtle Abercrombie for playing the organ so expertly at the Removal Service and Service of Thanksgiving. Thank you to Keith Elliott, Austen Stinson, and the W.T. Morrison team for manging the funeral arrangements with great care and professionalism. As it is impossible to thank everyone personally, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our appreciation for the support and kindness received.
