Proposal: Extension of the gas network from Portadown to service the towns of Coalisland, Cookstown, Derrylin, Dungannon, Enniskillen, Magherafelt and Omagh including construction of approximately 80km of high pressure (HP) cross country transmission pipeline connected to the existing network; construction of approximately 100km of lower pressure (IP) gas mains primarily within the road network, linking the main (HP) network to the target towns; and construction of four Pressure Reduction Stations.
Location: Lands comprise a broad route corridor between the towns of Portadown, Dungannon, Augher and Fivemiletown with development of the lower pressure pipeline in the road network connecting Dungannon, Coalisland, Cookstown and Magherafelt; between Augher and Omagh; and between Fivemiletown, Enniskillen and Derrylin.
