DAVAGH FOREST TRAILS 'EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST'

DAVAGH FOREST TRAILS 'EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST'
Mid Ulster District Council is seeking to further develop its Mountain Biking/ Walking Trails at Davagh Forest into a major outdoor recreation and tourism destination in the west of its District. The facility already includes a Mountain Bike Skills Area/Pump Track and Council wishes to further enhance the range of activities and associated services on offer at the facility.
Council is interested to receive proposals for any viable and desirable activity and/or service which is compatible with the location and existing activities thereat.
Council therefore invites "Expressions of Interest" for the provision of complementary activities and/or services such as:
"Bicycle hire/repairs, mountain bike coaching, orienteering lessons, provision of appropriate catering, etc. at Davagh Forest Trail Head"
In the first instance please contact Mr Liam Glavin, Head of Leisure,
on 03000 132 132 to arrange an informal discussion regarding the project before
Friday 29th April 2016.
It is anticipated that the initial informal discussion will focus on the type of activity and/or service that might be provided and will require the proposer to be able to discuss in some detail the activity/service, requisite staffing and/or equipment, opening hours, seasonality, limiting factors where applicable, etc.
Following the initial discussion(s), Council will further consider the proposal(s) and will compile a shortlist of potential bidders who will be asked to make a formal documented proposal.
Council is not seeking to procure any activity/service and does not bind itself to acceptany ofthe proposals received.
