Mid Ulster District Council Tourism Development Group
Mid Ulster District Council approved The Mid Ulster Tourism Strategy 2016-2021 document in July 2016 and one of its recommendations is to establish a Tourism Development Group to oversee and advise on the delivery of the strategy document and to provide tourism representation from across sectors and geographically across the region.
Council are seeking nominations for one representative from the following sectors to sit on the Tourism Development Group:
Hotel Accommodation

- Self-Catering

B&B/Guesthouse

Visitor Attractions

Events

Tourism Services

Local Food Producers/Farmers Markets

Craft Sector

Education & Skills

Vintners

If you are an existing tourism business owner who would like to nominate yourself or a representative to sit on the Tourism Development Group, please forward your nomination in writing to Mary McGee, Business Engagement Officer, Ranfurly House, Market Square, Dungannon, BT70 1AB or email: Mary.McGee@midulstercouncil.org
Nominations must be received by no later than Monday 10th October at 12 noon.
The first meeting of the Tourism Development Group will be held in Seamus Heaney HomePlace, Bellaghy on Thursday 13th October at 10.00am. Meetings will be held every two months on a rotating basis across the Mid Ulster region.
