BROWN John Gerald. The family of the late John Gerald Brown, Aughrim, Springfield, would like to express their sincere gratitude to all those who sympathised with us on our recent sad loss. Thank you to all who visited Gerald during his short stay in hospital and later called at the home, attended the Funeral, brought gifts, sent letters and cards, telephoned and gave donations in lieu of flowers. Thank you to the Doctors and Nurses in the S.W.A.H., and especially the Staff of the Cardiac Unit who looked after Gerald during his final days. Our thanks to the Rev Mandy Durell for her comforting presence, pastoral care and for conducting the Funeral Service. Our thanks to the organist Barbara Ferguson and to the Members of Springfield Methodist Church who helped during the Funeral Service. Sincere thanks also to Austen Stinson and Staff of W. T. Morrison for carrying out the Funeral arrangements in such an efficient, sympathetic and dignified manner. Thanks to Devenish Parish Church, Monea Select Vestry for the use of the Reade Hall after the burial, and especially the Members of the Mothers Union who prepared and served delicious refreshments after the Funeral. As it is impossible to thank everyone individually please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our appreciation and gratitude at this sad time. His wife Eileen, sons Gordon and Derek, daughters-in-law Ashley and Amanda, grandchildren Sarah-Kate and James.
