Mc GOVERN Siobhan (1st Anniversary) In loving memory of a dear wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend to all she met, Siobhan McGovern, who died 2nd November, 2018. Dearly loved and sadly missed by her husband Fintan, daughter Lauren and son Michael, father Sean, mother Teresa, brother Mark and sisters Mary, Ciara, Orla and Therese. The McGovern and Gilleece families wish to extend their appreciation and gratitude for all the help and kind support shown to them by friends and neighbours during Siobhan's illness and in the following year. A sincere thank you to all who called to the house, many travelling long distances, sent Mass cards, sympathy cards and letters of condolences. Thank you to the local neighbours who kept the kitchen going and served tea to all who called, your help was so greatly appreciated. Sincere thanks to the Staff of the South West Acute Hospital, the Palliative Care Team and the North West Cancer Centre, Derry for the care and attention shown to Siobhan. A heartfelt thank you to Fr. McKiernan, Fr. Alwill, Fr. McGoohan and Fr. Victor for their spiritual comfort to Siobhan during her illness and stay in hospital. The Funeral Mass was a special and memorable service remembering Siobhan's shortened life with us; thanks to Fr. Alwell for his lovely homily and all those who participated especially the Derrylin Choir and visiting singer Louise Irvine. Special thanks to the Derrylin Scouts who Siobhan loved with a passion and the Derrylin Drama Society who came together to form the guard of honour. A big thank you to members of the Derrylin O'Connell's who never fail to give a helping hand when needed. A special thank you to the Teachers, Parents and Children of Class P.6 St. Ninnidh's and St. Aidan's 5th year for their friendship, kindness and care over the last year. Thank you to the Funeral Director, Pat Blake, for all his professionalism whilst carrying out the funeral arrangements. We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who helped in any and all ways. A Mass will be celebrated for your intentions. Siobhan's First Anniversary Mass will be celebrated in St. Ninnidh's Church, Derrylin on Sunday, 10th November at 11.15 a.m.
