MONTGOMERY George Andrew We, the family of the late George Andrew Montgomery, wish to express our heartfelt thanks to all those who sympathised with us following our recent sad bereavement. Our sincere thanks to those who visited George in hospital and called at his home, telephoned, brought gifts, sent cards and letters, to those who sent donations in lieu of flowers for the Patients Comfort Fund Ward 8 (SWAH) and to those who attended the Removal and the Funeral, including those who travelled long distances to be with us. Our grateful appreciation to Dr. Cathcart & Partners, with particular thanks to Dr. Simon Forster, the Nurses and Receptionists, Tempo District Nurses, Corinna and Staff in Lisbellaw Medical Hall, Dr. Robinson and the Palliative Care Team and all the Staff in Ward 8, who for 5 weeks, lovingly cared for George. Sincere thanks to Rev. John Beacom who so kindly supported and comforted us and conducted the Removal and Funeral Service, Rev. Louise McKee for her pastoral care and support, to Sharon Wilson the Organist, the Gravediggers, the Ladies of Lisbellaw Methodist Church who provided and arranged the flowers in the Church and served the tea in the Church Hall after the interment and to Norman Coalter and Team who provided the food. To each and everyone who helped in any way, thank you. Thanks also to Marcus and Gordon at S. R. Elliott Funeral Directors who carried out the funeral arrangements in such a caring and professional manner. We trust this will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere appreciation. Ruby, Glenda, Rodney, Rachel and Stuart, Lisbellaw.
