MONAGHAN Michael (Mick) Kinawley 2nd January 2020 The family of the late Mick Monaghan would like to express our heartfelt appreciation to all family, friends and neighbours who provided us with immense support during the sudden bereavement of Mick who was a beloved husband to Maggie, father to Kevin (Mary), Majella (Alan), Carmel (Mark) and Fidelma (Niall), also a loving Grandfather, Brother and Uncle. We are very grateful for the generosity shown and the memories shared by all those who attended and helped with the wake and funeral. In addition, we are extremely thankful for all who telephoned, called at the family home, sent Mass or sympathy cards and attended the funeral. Thank you also to everyone who worked tirelessly in the kitchen and those who brought gifts of food. Our sincere thanks to Dr Sweeney, Florencecourt and the staff of A&E who cared for Mick that day and showed such compassion and care towards us all, with his sudden passing. The family are especially thankful to Fr McMarrow and Fr Comiskey for the lovely and fitting tribute they done at the wake, removal and his beautiful Requiem Mass. To all the clergy that called and offered their much needed support. To Kinawley Brian Borus for the guard of honour and for carrying him, it was greatly appreciated. Thank you to the altar servers and for the fitting music by Brenda Kerrins, Aveen Owens and Shauneen Maguire at the Requiem Mass, also to everyone who helped with the refreshments in Kinawley Community Centre. We would also like to express our gratitude to Patrick Blake Funeral Directors for the dignified manner that they carried out the funeral arrangements. With all the help we received, it would be impossible to extend our thanks to everyone that helped in so many ways through this sad time. Please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our deeply felt appreciation for the kindness shown. Mick's Month's Mind Mass will be celebrated on Saturday 8th February at 11am at St Naile's Chapel, Kinawley.
