GLADYS ELLIOTT

Published on 23/04/2020

ELLIOTT Gladys Vivian (nee Blakely) 9 April 2020. The family of the late Vivian Elliott wish to express their sincere thanks and appreciation to all those who expressed their sympathy and support to our family following the loss of our beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother. We are most thankful to the emergency services and staff at the S.W.A.H who were so caring, compassionate and attentive during her final moments. Thank you to all who sent cards and messages of sympathy, telephoned our homes and paid their respects along the cortroute and to her many faithful friends who regularly visited and encouraged her over the years. To McDaid's Pharmacy, the nurses and doctors in the Rosslea Surgery and latterly the Maple Health Centre, our thanks and appreciation for their support and excellent health care. A very special word of thanks to the home helps who enabled our mother to live a contented, rich and fulfilled life at home. We are deeply indebted to Mrs Betty Doonan for her loyal and devoted care of her over many years. Our thanks to the grave diggers who prepared the grave and to the undertaker, Mr Noel Robinson, for his help and support in all the funeral arrangements which were carried out in a professional, sympathetic and dignified manner. We would also thank the Rev David Campbell for his faithful pastoral care over the years and his support and prayers at the funeral home. Given the challenges of these unusual times, we look forward to holding a Service of Thanksgiving when the restrictions are lifted. Please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our sincere and heartfelt gratitude from the Elliott family at this time of deep loss.
