O'ROURKE Philomena 12th June 2020 The family of the late Philomena O'Rourke wish to express their sincere gratitude to all those who sympathised with them in their recent bereavement. Our heartfelt thanks to the large number of people who took time to telephone, send text messages, place tributes on various social media platforms and to those who sent mass and sympathy cards. We especially thank the staff of the Gnangara who looked after Philomena with great care and love for the last few years of her life and also to the staff of the SWAH in her final hours. Special thanks to Fr. Alwill for administering the sacrament of the sick via telephone to Philomena, for his heart felt words at her funeral and his caring support to the family. We thank Fr. Murray for concelebrating the mass. To Siobhan and Eilis we thank you for the beautiful music and singing. Thanks to Pat and Mark Blake, Funeral Directors, for all their support and professionalism at this difficult time; to the grave diggers Owen and Enda our sincere thanks for your hard work. To the large number of people who lined the route from Philomena's home to the Church and to those who called to the house your presence was a great comfort to us. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we hope this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our sincere appreciation. Philomena's Months Memory Mass will take place in St. Ninnidh's Church, Derrylin on Saturday 18th July at 11am.
