SINEAD O'REILLY

O'REILLY Sinead 5th February 2021 We, the family of the late Sinead O'Reilly wish to express our heartfelt gratitude to all those who supported us following the unexpected and devastating loss of Sinead. We wish to thank all those who sent Mass Cards, sympathy cards, letters and flowers, those who expressed their condolences online, on the phone and in person and to all the friends, family and neighbours who brought food to our family home and helped in every way to care for us over those difficult days. We have been overwhelmed by the support that has been shown to us. We would like to thank all those who paid their respects and lined the route on the day we brought Sinead home and again on the morning of her Funeral Mass - the support from our neighbours, our friends and our community has been humbling. We would also like to thank all those who watched the Funeral Mass online via the Church webcam due to the restrictions at the present moment. Thanks to Canon Mc Phillips and to the many helpers in the church for the beautiful Requiem Mass in celebration of Sinead's life, and to all of the clergy from across the community who reached out to us at this difficult time. Thank you to Josie, Jacqueline, Collette and Jodie who read so beautifully and to Sinead Mc Gorman, Karen Mc Elroy and Alan McEvoy for the beautiful singing and music at Sinead's Mass. Sinead would have loved the Gary Barlow song - thank you for making it all so special and personal to her. We also wish to thank Ollie Swift, Felix Mc Caffrey and all those at Swift McCaffrey Undertakers, not only for the professional way in which you carried out the funeral arrangements, but also for the warmth, compassion and understanding shown to us. Thank you to all of the staff at the South West Acute and Royal Victoria Hospitals, and at the Maple Group Practice for all of the medical care given to Sinead over the last 30 years. Also to the Paramedics and Ambulance Service for their quick response and caring manner on the evening Sinead fell ill. A special word of thanks to the staff of Ward 5 and the Palliative Care Team at SWAH who were so kind to Sinead and to us, her family in her final days. A very very special word of thanks to Sinead's many carers over the years - as well as caring for her physical needs, you were so kind and loving to her - Sinead looked forward to seeing the 'Girls' every day - you became a big part of her life. For the kindness you showed to her and the care you gave her, we will be eternally grateful. Thanks to Sinead's many friends and colleagues from Waterways Ireland for supporting and helping her in so many ways down through the years. Thanks also for the many tributes and anecdotes about Sinead that you have shared with us over the last number of weeks - they have helped us through these difficult times. Thanks to all the friends and family who helped in our home on the days over Sinead's funeral and indeed on the days since. Your presence has been a great source of strength to us. Given the outpouring of support it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we hope this expression will be accepted as a token of our appreciation to you all. A Mass in Sinead's memory, will be celebrated in Holy Cross Church, Lisnaskea on 11th April at 11am.
