MAYNE John Henry 13th August, 2021 The family of the late John Mayne would like to express their heartfelt thanks and appreciation to all who sympathised with them in their recent bereavement, The respect, admiration and memories of him have brought us great comfort. Thanks to all who sent food, cards, letters, messages on social media, telephoned or texted us. Thanks to Neville for sanitising the church and Linda and Hilda for the seating arrangements. Thanks to F Dowler for the use of their Funeral Home. We appreciated the people who called at the Funeral Home to sympathise and all who sent donations in lieu of flowers to Marie Curie. We highly valued the carers who did a guard of honour and his friends and neighbours who lined the route of his last journey from his home to the church and those who stood outside the church grounds and attended the service. Thank you to the organisations to which Dad belonged to for playing their role. We thank Reverend Capper for conducting the funeral service. We very much appreciated Mrs Letty Downey playing the organ at the service. The family would like to thank the Doctors, Nurses and staff of the Mapel Health Group, Lisnaskea and Armstrongs Pharmacy for all their help, advice and assistance during John's decline in health. Thanks to the HSC for the use of equipment, the Community Care Team, Palliative Care Team, District Nurses, Jayne Ferguson (Social Worker), Respiratory Team, Marie Curie and the Rapid Response Team who assisted the family during his last few days. A special word of thanks is extended to his wonderful team of carers and his sitter Caroline who also became his friends. We are so thankful to you all. Thank you Ronnie Moffatt, Funeral Director and staff for their guidance with utmost care, professionalism, dignity and thoughtful way they carried out their role and Marcus Madill for the final journey video and also the gravedigger William Graham for the work in preparing the grave and leaving it tidy after the burial. As it's impossible to thank everyone individually we sincerely hope that this notice will be accepted as an expression of our sincere appreciation and gratitude.
