MURPHY PJ PJ Murphy's family, Ann, Michael, Elena and Philip, wish to extend their sincere thanks to the many people who helped and supported them during PJ's illness and at the time of his death on the 19th January 2022. We will be forever grateful for the kindness and thoughtfulness shown by people at this sad and difficult time. Our thanks to the doctors, nurses and admin. staff in Tempo and Brookeborough Practice. To the staff in Tempo Pharmacy, and above all, to Doctor Darren Mitchel and his team in the BridgeWater Suite at Belfast City Hospital. We also wish to thank the District Nursing team, with a special word of thanks to Helen and Sineive for their help and kindness when we needed it most. We are very grateful to our families who regularly kept in touch and were always available to help out. A mention also to our friends, neighbours and workmates who overcame the challenges of Covid, sitting outside to catch up and shouting through the window, you brightened many a day! As did those who phoned PJ regularly for long conversations. Thank you Kevin, Joe, Tony, Tom, Kathleen and the McCusker sisters. Those chats were a Godsend to him. A special word of thanks to the McCaffery and Dunne Families who were there for us at all times. We wish to thank Father John Halton for visiting PJ and for the wonderful way he conducted the funeral service. Thanks to Patricia Rodgers for her beautiful singing, the readers, those who carried PJ's Coffin and everyone else who helped. Thanks also to John McKeegan for the dignified way in which he organised the funeral arrangements. Thank you to everyone who called to the house and also to those who were unable to do so because of Covid regulations, who instead lined the route of the funeral cortege. We were deeply touched by this. Thank you also to those who brought and sent cards, letters and gifts to us and those who phoned and texted. It is our hope that we have not overlooked anyone and this will be accepted by all who helped and sympathised as a mark of our sincere appreciation. "Your life was a blessing, Your memory a treasure, You are loved beyond words, And missed beyond measure".
