Mc AFEE Susan (nee McGovern) Aghahooran, Boho 29th July 2022 We the family of the late Susan McAfee wish to express our sincere appreciation to everyone who sympathised with and supported us on the death of our beloved mother. Thanks to all who came to the wake and funeral, lined the funeral route, sent Mass and sympathy cards, phoned or shared condolences on social media. We are deeply grateful to Fr. Seamus Quinn for his support before and after Mum's death and for his beautiful homily, which captured the essence of our Mother so well. We also thank Fr. Jimmy McPhillips for attending Mum in the hospital, Fr. Niall Martin for concelebrating the funeral Mass and Fr. Cathal Deery for his prayerful support. We thank the representatives from Killyhommon PS, St. Michael's College and Boho Community Association for their guard of honour. Thanks to the Staff of Devenish Practice and a special 'thank you' to the wonderful Staff of Ward 8, SWAH, who cared so well for Mum during her illness and for the consideration they showed to our family. Thanks also to Kathleen, Mary and Caroline who provided friendship and support over the last number of years and all her friends in Derrygonnelly Day Centre. We also want to thank the kind neighbours and friends who brought food and home baking to the house, Sheena and Francis for the lovely singing and music at the funeral and Caroline and Pauline for the beautiful flower arrangements. We thank the grandchildren for their participation in the funeral liturgy and for their help in the home, the members of Boho Community Association who provided a lovely meal for the family and Brendan for all his help on the day. A sincere 'thank you' to John Corrigan for carrying out all the funeral arrangements in such a caring and dignified manner, to Peter and Maeve Carty for their help and advice and also to Martin Doherty and Brendan Carty. Please accept this acknowledgment as a token of our appreciation and gratitude. ________ Mum's Month's Mind Mass will be celebrated in Sacred Heart Church, Boho on 28th August at 10 am.
