SAMUEL (nee Murphy) Vera Mary Vera Samuel, Letterbreen, 25th February 2023. Vera's family wish to extend their gratitude for the support, guidance, and love shown to them preceding, during and after their recent bereavement. Sincere thanks to her siblings who visited her regularly and Hazel, her dearest friend for her loyalty and love. Thank you to her partner, Ignatius McAvinney of recent years who made her life rich and joyful. Thanks also to our partners, family, and friends - old and new, for their help, especially in recent months, and messages of kindness, flowers, gestures, cards. Thanks also to the district nurses, Arlene, and her team, to carers, and volunteer drivers, for their diligence. A special thanks to Dr Mazdai and Dr Finnerty, Pic line genius Helen Nutt, and staff at Derry/L-Derry hospital, who assisted Vera on this 8-year journey. To district nurse Arlene for her clarity and kindness at a most difficult time, to the staff at Ward 4, Palliative Care in Omagh Hospital, who were faultless and compassionate at every turn. Thank you to Ali Finnegan for his invaluable help and participation, appreciating and tending the land for 30 years, to Stephen Collum who kept a watchful eye, to Iggy Lunny and staff who helped with her recent move. Thank you to Cancer Connect staff and reflexologist, to Peadar McGovern and staff at McGovern's Pharmacy, Derrylin, who went out of their way to help with medications. Thanks also to the nurses and the staff at Lakeside Medical Practice, Enniskillen, to Declan Finnegan and Ian Fee for their calm guidance at Lakelands Crematorium, and all who came to sympathise with the family, and who travelled to attend the funeral. We are grateful to you all.Your tribute has been received.
