SMYTON William (Billy) His wife Beatrice, sons Alan and Mark, daughters-in-law Cheryl and Hannah and families wish to express their sincere thanks to all who sympathised with them on their recent sad bereavement. To all who sent cards and messages of sympathy, telephoned, called at the home, brought food and cooked meals for us. To all who met the family at the church hall and all who attended the funeral. Thank you to the staff of Ward 9 at the SWAH who cared for Billy, and to Tempo Medical Centre. Thanks to Rev Canon Maurice Armstrong for his pastoral support, home and hospital visits and for conducting the funeral service, Carole Graham (Organist) and to the ladies and gentlemen of the parish for providing tea after the service. Thanks to Ian Mc Cutcheon & Son for the dignified way in which the funeral was carried out and for digging the grave. Thanks to all who donated in lieu of flowers to Clabby Parish Church. We trust this acknowledgement will be accepted as an expression of our deep gratitude to you all.
