PHILOMENA BAKER
BAKER (nee McManus) Philomena Kilready, Newtownbutler 20th December 2023 You never said I'm leaving, you never said goodbye, You were gone before I knew it and only God knows why. A million times I've needed you, a million times I've cried, If love alone could have saved you, you never would have died. In life I loved you dearly, in death I love you still, In my heart you hold a place that no-one could ever fill. It broke my heart to lose you but you didn't go alone, For part of me went with you the night God took you home. Your beloved husband Finian. Memories of you are our greatest treasure, To love, cherish and to keep forever. We hold you close, within our hearts, And there you will remain, To walk with us, throughout our lives, Until we meet again. Deeply missed by your loving children and grandchildren. Philomena's Month's Mind Mass will be celebrated on Sunday 21st January at 11:30am in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Newtownbutler. We, the Baker family wish express our sincere gratitude and appreciation for the overwhelming support we received following Phil's death. We'll never forget the kindness shown to us as a family. We would like to thank the Emergency Services, Cannon McPhillips, and the Curran and Love families who comforted and prayed with Phil in her time of need. We sincerely thank Swift & McCaffrey Funeral Directors for their professionalism, warmth and kindness in helping us arrange Phil's traditional wake and funeral. Carmel and Morganna, a special thanks to you both for the loving care you gave to Phil. Thanks to the McLaughlin's for lighting the lane and those that provided traffic management and drove people to and from the house. Our heartfelt thanks to the many friends, neighbours and extended family that called to the house, provided food, sent mass and sympathy cards and to all who travelled to the funeral, it was greatly appreciated. We wish to express our sincere thanks to Fr Kevin Malcolmson, who faithfully provided spiritual support and prayers to our family in preparation for and in celebration of a beautiful Requiem Mass. Many thanks Tully, your music and singing was exceptional, it enlightened our souls and was integral in giving Phil the send-off she deserved. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our heartfelt appreciation. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a hanam dílis
