LOANE Viola 24 December 1965 12 January 2024 Viola's husband Cyril, children Aaron (Charlene), Jamie (Megan), Amy (Conor), Matthew, Mark (Hannah) and Ben (Zara) and brother Ashley wish to sincerely thank all those who sympathised with them on their recent sad bereavement. Those who telephoned throughout Viola's illness, sent cards and letters, attended the Funeral Home, Funeral Service and Burial. The family will never forget the practical support of neighbours and friends throughout Viola's illness and at the time of her death. They are deeply grateful for Rev. George Bowes' exceptional spiritual support provided to Viola which meant so much to her and themselves throughout the five years of her illness and for conducting the Funeral Service. The family are also grateful for the regular visits of Rev. Eleanor and Gareth Hayden. They sincerely thank Canon Alan Irwin, Rural Dean and the Select Vestry of Magheraculmoney Parish Church for kindly granting the use of the Church for the Funeral Service. Thanks to Mr. Sydney Liggett, Churchwarden and Mr David Daniel for all their assistance with the Funeral Service. Thanks to Ardess Accordion Band for playing some favourite pieces during the service. Thanks to Viola's Nursing Colleagues and Ardess Accordion Band members for forming a Guard of Honour at the Church. Sincere thanks to the local District Nursing Staff particularly Sister Bridgeen McKervey who cared for Viola so lovingly when still at home. Thanks to the Medical and Nursing Staff of the Palliative Care Unit, Omagh Hospital for their care of Viola in the last weeks of her illness. Also thanks to the Staff at the Cancer Centre, Altnagelvin Hospital for their support to Viola during her on-going treatment over the past five years and thanks also to Kesh Pharmacy. Thanks to Heather Birney at Heather's Cottage and her Staff for the provision of refreshments at the Funeral Home and after the Funeral Service. Thanks to Ardess RBP for the use of the Hall. Thanks to Mr. Andrew Simpson, Graveyard Warden for his assistance and efficiency in preparing Viola's final resting place. Thanks to the Funeral Director, Mr. George McFarland for the kind and caring manner in which he carried out the funeral arrangements. Thanks to those who have made donations in memory of Viola for the Ardess Accordion Band. The family trust that this thanks will be accepted as a token of their sincere appreciation as it would be impossible to thank everyone individually.
