DOREEN KILFEDDER
KILFEDDER Doreen The family of Doreen Kilfedder (nee Morgan), of 67 Derrychara Drive, Enniskillen, dearly loved wife of Gregory, devoted Mother of Ann (Chris), Catherine, Raymond and Jill (Allan) and much-loved grandmother of Michael, Joel and Zoe, would like to express our deepest thanks for everyones' sympathy as we mourn her loss. The shared memories from all of you before, during and after the funeral, along with many visits, phone calls, flowers, cards, social media posts, gifts of food, and words of condolence meant a great deal to us all. We would especially like to thank WT Morrisons and their team for their professional and caring arrangements, especially Keith Elliott, who visited, reminisced and was at all times a significant help and support. Keith your Mum should be very proud. As well as the Reverend Doctor Edwin Aiken and the team at St Macartans Cathedral for the service and for honouring Doreens' life, and to all those at Cross Cemetery. Gregory would like to extend a special thank you to Brian Culbert and Sean McCaffrey who stepped in at the last minute at the Church and Graveyard respectively to help carry Doreen. Thanks to Norman Coalter and team for the refreshments after the funeral, and for stepping in discreetly when a little extra was required. The flowers were beautiful and exactly what we had hoped they would be Mary Howe thanks for your work and your patience! Thanks to the Erne Medical Centre staff, especially Dr Toal, for their care of Doreen over the years. And to the team at Bradleys Pharmacy and McCreesh Hearing for whom nothing seemed to be too much trouble. To the lovely hairdressers at Xtreme who looked after Doreen every Saturday and even came into the hospital on a number of occasions. Thanks to NW Care, who helped us to support Doreen at home for as long as we could. To all the staff in Ward 8 at the South West Acute Hospital I know we were under your feet a lot but, especially during Doreens' last days, you made us feel that was ok. Deputy Ward Sister Ciara Boyle you will be forever fondly remembered by us for the way you were with Doreen and how you spoke with us during her final days please look after yourself and your Mum. Thanks to our extended family for their support and for travelling to be at the funeral despite all the chaos due to the weather. For those who could not make it we know you were with us online. To all Greg and Doreens' neighbours for all the little acts of support and kindness thank you. We are grateful for your continued support and care. And finally, to the Manor House Hotel for accommodating our family at the last minute for a get together in the place where Greg and Doreen had their wedding reception in 1961. It's not possible to thank everyone individually so we hope this acknowledgement will be acceptable as a sincere expression of our thanks and appreciation to all. A special word of thanks to all those who donated in lieu of flowers to the Alzheimer's Society or the British Heart Foundation -raising over £400. Doreen - wife, mother, grandmother - we miss you. "When you are walking down the street and you've got me on your mind, I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind. And when you feel the gentle breeze or the wind upon your face, That's me giving you a great big hug or just a soft embrace".
