Tony Cannon
CANNON Tony Lettergreen, Newtownbutler 23rd March 2024 The family of the late Tony Cannon, son of the late Anthony and Kate Cannon (RIP), brother to Jackie (Peter) Maguire, Loretta (Seamie) Duffy, uncle to Orlaigh, Cassie, Dara, uncle and godfather to Elli-Mae and Ellen, would like to express our deepest and sincere thanks to our extended family, friends, club mates, neighbours and those who travelled to sympathise and support us on the recent passing of our dear beloved Tony. We would like to include those who sent Mass cards, letters, floral tributes and heart-warming messages of condolence and tributes via social media. Special thanks to those who helped during wake and funeral, including those who generously provided food and refreshments in our time of mourning. We will be forever grateful and have taken great comfort from your kindness. We also give our utmost gratitude to the emergency services for their assistance at our time of need. We will be forever indebted to Tony's beloved St. Patrick's GFC for all their support during this difficult time. From the organising of parking and providing shuttle bus transfers, to the guard of honour for Tony, both on the evening of remains returning home and on morning of the funeral - truly touching. We offer a special thanks to Father Kevin Malcolmson for his spiritual guidance and outstanding support during Tony's sudden passing. You were of great comfort to us. Thank you for your warm and fitting words throughout the Funeral Mass. Sincere appreciation also to the wonderful singing and music provided by the group Tully during Tony's Funeral Mass. Many thanks to the Clubhouse Donagh and St. Patrick's GFC for their excellent service after the burial. St. Patrick's Clubhouse was one of Tony's favourite places. A final special word of thanks to Swift and McCaffrey Funeral Directors who displayed professionalism and compassion throughout the wake and funeral. As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this as a token of our sincere appreciation and gratitude. A Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for you. ________ Tony's Month's Mind Mass will be celebrated on Friday, 3rd May at 7pm in St. Patrick's Church, Donagh. Loved and Forever Missed Tony. Rest in Peace. St. Anthony pray for us.
