THE Public Health Agency has launched a recruitment scheme to find healthcare professionals who have immunisation experience to join the HSC workforce team to prepare for the mass vaccination of the population of Northern Ireland
The HSC workforce recruitment website said: “Earlier this year, the Department of Health created the HSC Workforce Appeal to manage the urgent recruitment and deployment of healthcare professionals and support workers during the initial outbreak of Covid-19.
“As the response to Covid-19 continues to put pressure on our health and social care system, we have reopened the HSC Workforce Appeal across a targeted range of occupations and disciplines.
“As we begin the process of rolling out the vaccine across Northern Ireland, our Covid-19 Vaccination Recruitment Programme is currently seeking applications for registered healthcare Ppofessionals, healthcare support workers and administrative support workers to temporarily join the team.
“We are currently seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified professionals with immunisation experience that are not already working within Northern Ireland’s health and social care system.
"If you are currently working for a HSC Trust within Northern Ireland, please contact your Trust’s Peer Vaccination Team.”
