RESIDENTS from Fermanagh and South Tyrone have once again featured strongly on The Queen‘s New Years Honours List.
Five distinguished citizens have been featured in the listing by Her Majesty.
Among those listed is Catherine Jane Irwin, who has been awarded an MBE for her services to Girlguiding.
She has served in the Fermanagh community for many years and currently serves as the Chair of the Board of Trustees for Girlguiding.
Thomas Edward Donnelly has been awarded a BEM for services to Peace and Reconciliation in Brookeborough, Co. Fermanagh, and Arthur Wilfred David Ovens has also been awarded a BEM for services to Peace and Reconciliation in Brookeborough, Co. Fermanagh.
The two men have been instrumental to the success of Brookborough Enterprise LTD.
George Kenneth Graham has been awarded a BEM for services to Young People and to the community in Fivemiletown, Co. Tyrone, and Isabella Daisy Collum has also been awarded a BEM for services to Young People and to the community in Fivemiletown, Co. Tyrone.
