AN ENNISKILLEN school has raised more than £6,000 for the international development charity, Concern Worldwide.
Students and teachers at St. Michael’s College raised the money after taking part in the charity’s annual 24-hour food and social media fast.
Four Year 14 students were also appointed as Youth Ambassadors and promoted the fundraising challenge among fellow students and teachers last month.
The group also took part in a live training webinar and made their own video presentation about Concern.
The funds raised from the fast will go to support Concern’s work with vulnerable people in the world’s poorest communities who have been the hardest-hit by the impact of the Coronavirus.
