The 19-year-old man who was arrested following a stabbing at a house in Enniskillen earlier this week has appeared in court.
Liam Swift, with an address of Lackaboy View, Enniskillen, appeared via videolink from Omagh Police Station on Wednesday in relation to the incident which happened in the Kilmacormick area of the town at around 4.55pm on Monday, January 11.
He is charged with grievous bodily harm with intent and possession of an offensive weapon, namely a pair of scissors.
Swift spoke only to confirm he could see and hear the court, and that he understood the charges against him.
A police officer told the court they could connect Swift to the charges.
No bail application was made by Swift’s solicitor as there was no suitable address available.
The 19-year-old was remanded in custody and is due to appear again on Monday, January 18.
