THE Holy Trinity school community in Enniskillen raised £1,023.15 for Saint Vincent de Paul through donations by family and staff, helping to bring real cheer last Christmas.
The school, which is involved in a number of fundraising initiatives throughout the year, raised the money through a £2 initiative, where staff and families donated £2 instead of buying a gift for each other.
School Principal Brian Treacy said he was delighted not only with the amount raised, but also with the spirit of generosity through which the school community undertook the initiative.
The money donated to Saint Vincent de Paul is being used to support those in need in the Enniskillen area.
