PSNI detectives are appealing for information following a number of burglaries reported in the Brookeborough area of Fermanagh yesterday afternoon (Friday, January 15).
Shortly after 3.50pm, it was reported to police that entry had been gained to a property at the Cooneen Road area. Sometime between 4pm and 5pm, it was reported that entry was gained to a house at the Tanyard Lane area. Police also received a report shortly before 4.50pm of entry gained to a property located at the Teiges Hill Road area of Brookeborough.
A PSNI spokesman said: "No one was inside the properties, with all three ransacked. A quantity of jewellery, a sum of money and a number of other items were taken during the incidents.
"Enquiries are continuing and at this stage, detectives are investigating a potential link between all three incidents."
Police would appeal to anyone who may have noticed any suspicious activity or any suspicious vehicles in these areas or to anyone that may have any information that could assist with enquiries to contact detectives on 101, quoting reference number 1290 15/01/21.
Alternatively, information can be provided to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 which is 100 per cent anonymous and gives people the power to speak up and stop this and any other form of crime.
