THE death toll for the Fermanagh and Omagh District Council area, in relation to the Coronavirus, now stands at 66 people, after the Department of Health reported five additional deaths in the district in the past 24 hours.
There were 24 additional deaths as a result of Covid-19 in Northern Ireland (NI), with seven deaths occurring outside of the reporting period.
There were 37 new cases of Covid-19 reported in the past 24 hours in Fermanagh and Omagh by the Department of Health.
The total number of cases in the Council area now stands at 4,950 people since the pandemic began.
The Department of Health's daily update recorded 713 new cases of Covid-19 across NI, with the highest daily increase occurring in the Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon district (179 new cases).
There have been Covid-19 24 deaths recorded in NI over the past 24 hours, and seven deaths recorded outside of the reporting period, bringing the total number of deaths recorded to 1,649.
Breaking down Fermanagh by postal district from January 11-17 shows that BT92 had 73 positive cases, BT74 had 52, BT94 had 33 and BT93 had 37 positive cases.
The Council area currently has a-seven day per 100k rate of 288.5, compared to 437.4 for the seven days previous, from January 5 -11.
The number of positive cases in the district in the past seven days is 337, compared to 511 from January 4-10.
Breaking down cases by age, there were 37 cases in people aged 19 and under; 118 between 20 and 39; 114 between 40 and 59; 54 between 60 and 79, and 13 aged 80 and over.
There are currently 110 Covid-19 in-patients in the Western Trust, with 47 of those at the SWAH. There have been 55 admissions and 66 discharges in the past seven days.
Across the Trusts, there are currently 842 Covid in-patients. The number of ICU Covid-occupied beds stands at 70, with two of those at the SWAH. Some 57 Covid patients are currently on ventilators.
Bed capacity across NI's hospitals is at 97 per cent, with the SWAH operating at 107.27 percent.
Confirmed care home outbreaks are currently 139, with 28 outbreaks across homes in the Western Trust. The Western Trust has the largest proportion of care homes with an outbreak in its region, with 39 per cent.
