A NUMBER of Scout leaders in Fermanagh have been recognised with awards for their dedication to the organisation.
The awards for service to Scouting were presented to 17 leaders at a recent online meeting for Fermanagh Scouting.
Presented with the Five Year Service Award were Amy McCabe, 1st Lisnaskea; David Latimer, 1st Rossorry; Lois McGowan, 1st Ballinamallard; Jock Armstrong, 1st Lisbellaw; Marcus Newman, 1st Rossorry; Sharon Clarke, 1st Lisnaskea; Francesca Fyffe, 1st Lisnaskea; and Leanne Beavers McAdam, 1st Clabby/Tempo.
Presented with the 10 Year Service Award were Clodagh Foster, GSL 1st Lisbellaw; Marty Clyde – BUFFS; Richard McBride, 1st Ballinamallard; and Stephen Richmond, 1st Inniskilling.
Presented with the 15 Year Service Award were Barry Rogers, 1st Rossorry; and Graeme Sowden, 1st Lisnaskea.
Three leaders were presented with the Woodbadge Training Awards. They were Gary Clarke, GSL 1st Rossorry; Paul Speight, District Explorers Commissioner and Paul Dickson, 1st Magheraculmoney – District Commissioner.
Maurice Lee, President of Fermanagh County Scout Council, said: "It is important to acknowledge the years of service given by so many, particularly at this time."
