Fermanagh and Omagh recorded the lowest number of positive Covid-19 cases in Northern Ireland according to the Department of Health's daily update.
Six cases were recroded in the local area, the lowest out of all Council areas, and were part of 275 positive cases across Northern Ireland.
There have now been 5,427 and 107,438 cases in Fermanagh and Omagh and Northern Ireland respectively.
Ten Covid related deaths were also recorded bringing the total to 1,953 however none of these were in the Fermanagh and Omagh Council area which currently has 80 deaths.
Breaking down Fermanagh by postal district, from February 1 – 7 shows that BT92 had 16 coronavirus-positive cases, BT74 had eight , BT94 had four and BT93 had three positive cases.
BT94 and BT93 had the second and fourth lowest rates of cases in Northern Ireland from February 1 -7 with 24.7 per 100,000 population and 26.5.
The daily update sees the number of cases of Covid-19 recorded in the district in the last seven days continue to drop. There have been 94 compared to and 152 in the seven days from January 26-February 1.
Looking at the positive cases from the past week by age, there were 15 cases in people aged 19 and under; 27 in those aged between 20 and 39; 33 in those between 40 and 59; 18 in those between 60 and 79, and one aged 80 and over.
The past seven-day rate per 100k of the population in Fermanagh has decreased, with a rate of 80.5 per 100k recorded in the past seven days, the lowest in Northern Ireland and in comparison, to 130.1 per 100k in the week of January 26- February 1.
There are currently 579 in-patients with Covid-19 across Northern Ireland, with 64 inpatients in the Western Trust.
26 of these patients are in the South West Acute Hospital (SWAH). There have been 26 admissions into the Western Trust and 40 discharges in the past week.
There are currently 60 people in ICU with Covid-19 across Northern Ireland, one of those are in SWAH while 57 patients are on ventilators.
SWAH is currently operating above capacity at 106.47 per cent bed capacity.
Across the care home sector, there are currently 90 confirmed Covid-19 outbreaks in homes across Northern Ireland.
There has been a decrease of 15 active outbreaks in the past seven days, with 20 outbreaks across 71 care homes in the Western Trust.
