Two males were arrested by the PSNI Fermanagh and Omagh District Support Team for motoring offences in the Belleek area after their vehicle was stopped for a routine check this afternoon (Thursday, February 11). Earlier in the day, the PSNI arrested a person in relation to a Theft incident.
A PSNI spokesman said: "Fermanagh and Omagh District Support Team have been busy filling cells in custody today.
"It all started this morning with a broken down vehicle. Unfortunately for the passenger they were alerted for arrest in relation to a previous theft incident and finished their journey to Omagh in the back of a Police car.
"The day was still young and whilst out patrolling the roads of Belleek, our peeler sixth sense struck again," said the PSNI spokesman, noting that a routine check of a vehicle resulted in two males being arrested for motoring offences.
"Their lovely Golf ended up on the back of a recovery lorry while they ended up on the way to custody," the PSNI spokesman concluded.
