Snow and strong winds overnight have created snow drifts across County Fermanagh today (Saturday, February 13).
This comes following a yellow weather warning for snow and ice put in place by the Met Office from midnight last night to 10pm tonight.
With a substantial amount of snow lying and more snowfall expected, the Met Office are warning road users to expect possible travel delays on roads which could strand some vehicles and passengers.
A spokesman for the Met Office stated: "Snow will spread east during Saturday [today] with some accumulations and icy stretches. Potential for disruption to travel."
He outlined that some roads are likely to be affected with longer journey times by road and bus services.
The Met Office spokesman added: "There is a small chance that power cuts will occur and other services, such as mobile phone coverage, may be affected [and] a small chance that untreated pavements and cycle paths become impassable."
