Firefighters rescued two men from a fire at a flat in Tempo in the early hours of this morning (Saturday, February 13).
A Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service (NIFRS) spokesman told The Impartial Reporter that at 3.19am the NIFRS responded to a flat fire on the Tullyreagh Road, Tempo.
He continued: "Three fire appliances, two from Enniskillen, one from Lisnaskea with a total of 15 firefighters attended the incident."
The NIFRS spokesman explained that firefighters wearing breathing apparatus and using water jets extinguished the fire and rescued two male casualties from the flat.
"Both casualties were treated at the scene for smoke inhalation by the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service.
"The cause of the fire is being treated as accidental. A smoke alarm was fitted at the flat which raised the alarm," the NIFRS spokesman concluded.
