The encouraging signs that Covid rates are falling in Fermanagh and Omagh continued as the Council area continued to have the lowest rate of positive cases in Northern Ireland.
However, there have now been 2,000 Covid-19 related deaths in Northern Ireland according to Monday's update from the Department of Health.
The four deaths reported today are among 25 deaths which occurred since Friday.
Fermanagh and Omagh District Council again recorded no deaths with total standing at 80. There has been no deaths recorded locally since February 5.
16 people tested positive for the virus in Fermanagh and Omagh over the weekend bringing the total to 5,463. Across Northern Ireland 109,147 people have tested positive for the virus following the 713 positive cases since Friday.
51 people have tested positive for Covid in Fermanagh and Omagh in the last seven days compared to 99 for the seven days from February 1-7.
The seven day rate in Fermanagh and Omagh currently stands at 43.7 compared to 84.7 for the seven days previous. Again the local Council area has the lowest positive case rate per 100k of popualtion.
Of those 51 cases, nine were aged 19 and under, 15 between 20 and 39; 16 were aged between 40 and 59; eight aged between 60 and 79 and three were aged 80 and under.
From February 8-14 postcode in Fermanagh have recorded low positive cases with BT92 having eight; BT74 had seven; BT94 had six and BT93 recorded four.
There are currently 56 Covid inpatients in the Western Trust with 22 in SWAH. Across all hospitals in Northern Ireland there are 477 Covid inpatients.
SWAH currently has one ICU Covid occupied bed. Across Northern Ireland there are 59 Covid ICU patients with 49 of them on ventilators.
In care homes, there are 79 active outbreaks as of February 11, a fall of 15 compared with the previous seven days. Out of the 96 outbreaks as of February 8, there have been 18 outbreaks in the Western Trust.
