10 Fire Service appliances attended a gorse fire on Saturday.
The weekend incident was reported to emergency services at 12.35pm on March 6.
A spokesperson from the Northern Ireland Fife and Rescue Service said: "Firefighters were called to a gorse fire on the Commons Road, Belleek on Saturday afternoon. NIFRS worked with fire crews from Donegal to tackle the 1,000 hectare fire. Firefighters used beaters to extinguish the fire. The cause of the fire is believed to be accidental ignition and the incident was dealt with by 7.28pm.
"10 NIFRS Fire Appliances attended throughout the course of the incident- one from Belleek, two from Enniskillen, two from Irvinestown, two from Lisnaskea, one from Omagh, one from Castlederg and one from Strabane."
