There were five more Covid-19 related deaths reported by the Department of Health in their daily update today, Tuesday.
It brings the total across Northern Ireland to 2,115. None of the five deaths occurred in the Fermanagh and Omagh District Council area where the total remains at 84.
The total number of positive cases in Northern Ireland has risen to 117,166 following 151 positive individuals in the last 24 hours. 12 of those were in Fermanagh and Omagh where the total is 5,731.
According to the daily update from the Department, has a seven-day rate per 100 thousand people in NI, at 41.9 per 100k, which equates to 49 cases in the past week.
Out of those 49 cases, 12 were aged 19 and under; 12 were between the ages of 20 and 39; 20 were between 40 and 59; three were between 60 and 79, with one aged 80 or over.
Locally, the BT93 area has continued to record zero Covid cases for the past seven days from March 22-28; BT74 and BT94 had two and BT92 had nine.
The latest data shows there are 38 Covid-19 in-patients across the Western Trust, while across all hospitals in NI, there are 131 such in-patients. There are 18 Covid-19 ICU patients across NI; 12 are currently on ventilators.
There are 13 Covid-19 in-patients in the SWAH, with one Covid-19 patient being treated in ICU in the SWAH.
in Tuesday, SWAH was operating at 6.47 per cent above its bed capacity.
As of March 30, there are five confirmed active Covid outbreaks in care homes – a decrease of three, compared with the previous seven days.
