PSNI officers yesterday (Monday) seized thousands of Diazapam and Pregabalin pills from an address in Fermanagh.
The task of removing these drugs was a joint operation by the PSNI and UK Border Force.
A statement released by the PSNI said: "Fermanagh and Omagh District Support Team carried out a search under a Misuse of Drugs Act warrant yesterday at an address in Lisnaskea.
"As a result approximately 3,500-4,000 pills labelled as Diazepam and Pregabalin have been removed from the streets.
"The suspect, who was already in custody for Driving Whilst Unfit after crashing his car, was further arrested for numerous drug offences including Importing a Class C Controlled Drug and is assisting police with ongoing enquiries."
Commenting on the operation, Sergeant Robinson said: “There is a reason these drugs are controlled. They can be addictive and dangerous if misused. On top of that when bought on the streets you don’t know what they contain.
"We can’t stress how dangerous these pills can be and urge anyone with information about drug supply to contact us. Without the help and information you provide us with many operations like this can’t take place."
