A 17-YEAR-OLD male has been charged in connection with an incident in Fintona on Friday night (April 30) when two police officers were assaulted.

The teenager has been charged with a number of offences, including assault on police, resisting police and disorderly behaviour.
He is scheduled to appear before Omagh Youth Court on May 19.
A PSNI spokeswoman said: “As is normal procedure, the charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.”
