In Wednesday’s daily update from the Department of Health there were three new cases of Coronavirus recorded in Fermanagh and Omagh District Council (FODC).
It brings the total to 5,955 and means FODC is no longer the council area with the fewest cases. Ards and North Down can claim that title with 5,949.
There were no deaths locally, and no further deaths in Northern Ireland. In the FODC area, the death toll stands at 85 while across Northern Ireland it has reached 2,146.
Positive cases across Northern Ireland are now at 120,600 after 99 were recorded by the Department of Health yesterday.
There is encouragement as the seven-day positive case rate in the FODC area is falling.
There were 41 new cases in the last seven days compared to 64 from April 21-27.
Out of the 41 positive cases recorded in the last week, 20 were aged 19 and under; 11 between 20 and 39; nine between 40 and 59; one between 60 and 79 and none aged 80 and over.
From April 27- May 3 postal districts in Fermanagh recorded nine new cases. The BT93 area recorded five new cases; BT74 one; BT94 three, and BT92 none.
There are seven Covid patients in the SWAH with one Covid patient in ICU.
As of May 5, there were six confirmed Covid-19 outbreaks in care homes across NI. Three of the separate outbreaks were asymptomatic whilst three were symptomatic.
