One man had to be cut out of a vehicle and was taken to hospital following a road traffic collision in the Tempo area on Wednesday (May 5).
The collision, which involved two vehicles, occurred on the Tonyglaskan Road, Tempo on Wednesday morning at around 10am.
Emergency services attended the incident including two Northern Ireland Ambulance Service (NIAS) crews and one Rapid Response Paramedic; two Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service (NIFRS) appliances from Enniskillen and one from Fintona and the PSNI.
A spokesman for the NIFRS stated: "Firefighters were called to a two vehicle road traffic collision. One vehicle had one male occupant who was out of his vehicle when firefighters arrived. The other vehicle was occupied by one male and one female.
"The female was out of the vehicle when firefighters arrived and the male occupant was trapped. He was rescued by firefighters using specialist cutting equipment and was then transferred to the care of the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service."
Following assessment and initial treatment at the scene, one patient was taken to the South West Acute Hospital by ambulance, a NIAS spokeswoman confirmed.
The incident was dealt with by 11.27am.
