Attendance at a house party in Irvinestown has led to fines for two people.
Naomi Fleming (21), of Kesh Road, Irvinestown and Conor Maguire (20) of Edenclaw Road, Drumcahy, Ederney were convicted of being in contravention of Coronavirus restrictions following a house party on February 6, 2021.
The court heard on the night in question police attended a house party in Reihill Park, Irvinestown in which there were eight people in the kitchen.
Those in attendance ran out the back door and into fields close to the house but Maguire was caught.
A time later the party was restarted after police had left and when they returned there were three females discovered in a bedroom.
Fleming, who was one of the three, claimed to be caring for the owner of the house who was in a wheelchair.
District Judge Steven Keown fined both defendants £300 for the Covid breaches.
