THE PSNI are appealing for witnesses following an afternoon attempted burglary in Tyrone.
A PSNI spokeswoman said: "Police are appealing for witnesses following the report of an attempted burglary at a business premises on Main Street, Dromore on Monday, May 23.
"It was reported that some time between 1 and 2pm, entry was gained to the premises; however, it is not believed that anything was taken.
"Officers are appealing for anyone with information or who may have witnessed any suspicious activity in the area to contact police at 101, quoting reference 36 of 24/05/21.
"Alternatively, if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details, they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers, and speak anonymously at 0800 555 111.
"You can also submit a report online using the non-emergency reporting form at http://www.psni.police.uk/makeareport/," added the spokeswoman.
