THREE people, including a 42-year-old man from the Irvinestown area, have been arrested as part of an investigation into the discovery of a viable device in the Lough Shore Path area of Enniskillen on St. Patrick's Day.
A PSNI spokeswoman said: "Detectives from PSNI’s Terrorism Investigation Unit investigating violent dissident Republican activity linked to the Continuity IRA have this morning, Tuesday, May 25, arrested three people under the Terrorism Act.
"Two men, aged 27 and 42, and a woman aged 29, were arrested as part of an investigation into the discovery of a viable device in the Lough Shore Path area of Enniskillen on Wednesday, March 17."
The man (42) was arrested in the Irvinestown area, and the man (27) and woman (29) were arrested in the Castlederg area.
All three have been taken to Musgrave Serious Crime Suite for questioning.
