AROUND 10 properties were left without water this morning (Wednesday, June 2) following a burst water main in the Queen Elizabeth Road area of Enniskillen.
A spokeswoman for NI Water said: "NI Water responded to reports of no water around the Queen Elizabeth Road in Enniskillen.
“A burst water main was the cause and staff were on site quickly to facilitate a repair."
Some surface water had appeared on the Queen Elizabeth Road following the burst water main, but this drained away quickly.
“The burst was repaired around 10.30am and it is estimated that around 10 properties were without water for approximately one hour," said the NI Water spokeswoman, adding: "We would like to thank customers in the area for their patience while we worked to resolve this matter.”
