A woman, who said she was “holding” on to over £1,000 worth of cannabis has been convicted of possession of the Class B drug.
Josephine Mulholland (23), with an address of Ferney Rise, Enniskillen appeared at Enniskillen Magistrates Court on Wednesday to face the single drug charge.
The court heard that a search conducted at an address in Ferney Rise and fingerprints found on two exhibits recovered were those of the defendant.
The two exhibits contained cannabis which in total weighed 96.32g and had a total value of £1,150.
During interview with police, Mulholland told them she did smoke and possess cannabis and that she was holding the drugs for someone.
She also said she had taken about two grams of the Class B drug for herself.
District Judge Steven Keown adjourned the matter until July 7 to allow for the completion of a pre-sentence report before sentencing Mulholland.
