Diversions are currently in place in Enniskillen town centre as roadworks began this morning (June 21) at the upper end of the Queen Elizabeth Road where it meets Belmore Street by the Clinton Centre.
The works, which are part of the Enniskillen Public Realm Scheme, are due to take approximately three weeks.
As the works take place, motorists will be unable to access the Queen Elizabeth Road via Belmore Street as one lane of the road is closed to traffic.
Traffic is being diverted via East Bridge Street. Access is still permitted to motorists travelling up the Queen Elizabeth Road towards Belmore Street from the roundabout near Enniskillen Library.
This newspaper is awaiting confirmation from Fermanagh and Omagh District Council regarding the details of the road closure over the next few weeks.
