Magheraveely Community Development Association hosted a small Covid-friendly gathering last Friday, June 18, to launch their newest facility, ‘The Sunshine Cabin’.
Funded by Fermanagh and Omagh District Council and the Department of Agriculture, the new area hosts a large meeting room with modern facilities, a car park and a poly tunnel.
At the launch, Chairperson Les Grayden sincerely thanked the members of the community for their support and encouragement over the past few years.
He paid tribute to the management and staff of the Council and the staff of the Department of Agriculture for choosing Magheraveely as one of the recipients of funding.
Barry Boyle and support staff from Fermanagh Rural Community Network were singled out for their hard work in this project, with Mr. Grayden also praising the efforts of the association.
The Sunshine Cabin is expected to be a very busy spot, as Covid permits, in the coming months and years.
