THE magic of the B-Movie has been revived by a young team of film-makers working in the heart of one of Enniskillen’s housing developments.
It was at St. Michael’s PS on Derrin Road that the entire film project was written, acted and filmed by 20 children working in the auspices of the Devenish Forum’s After School’s Project.
Children aged from eight to 11 worked with tutors from Wheelworks at the school to make the film. The young people were involved at every step of the process. The black and white film lasts four minutes in all and has been entered into the Belfast Film Festival.
The story, in true B-movie style, is about a mad scientist whose experiment goes badly wrong, resulting in a moth growing to huge proportions.
