THE school library at Enniskillen Model PS, which has been refurbished and reorganised, has been officially opened.
School principal, Mr. Henry keys, welcomed guests to the opening, performed by Mr. Hugh Lindsay, senior advisor of the Western Education and Library Board.
While the work was being completed, the school’s stock of books underwent a major review, which involved selecting, repairing and cataloguing all the stock in the Dewey system. Some of the reference stock was also updated. The Parents’ Association purchased books to the value of £700.
Mr. Keys said the library had been in operation this term and the children have shown “great interest and appreciation of it and they had the opportunity to select and exchange books”.
