A heatwave is expected to hit Fermanagh over the next few days with temperatures of up to 24°C at some points over the weekend.
According to today's weather forecast (Thursday, July 15), as reported by the Met Office, it will be overcast this morning, changing to sunny intervals by lunchtime, with the temperature rising to 21°C this afternoon.
As the weekend draws in, the weather is to become increasingly hotter as highs of 22°C are predicted for Friday evening moving into Saturday, where the temperature is to reach a scorching 24°C.
The hot weather is expected to remain for the next week, with the temperature staying around 23°C on Sunday and Monday and reaching 24°C again on Tuesday and Wednesday.
