Recently Fresh Focus Day Opportunities service arranged a special surprise for its service users to thank them for their great efforts during the Covid pandemic.
Derek Ryan – who is a firm-favourite Country singer for many of the service users – came along to sing and socialise with the group.
“We had a Country-themed event, with all the service users and staff getting into the spirit by dressing up in our best Country attire, and we even had bales of straw,” said a spokeswoman for the service.
“Despite the weather, everyone had a great time dancing and singing with Derek and his bandmate, Enda.
“Many thanks to Derek and Enda, the Lakeland Forum for helping us host Derek, and most of all, to our service users for bringing their usual swag and enjoying the event with us,” she added.
